Thanks be to God for His Indescribable Gift

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

I believe that among all the gifts that God has truly given us, Jesus ranks number one on the list. This gift is like no other. Jesus, The Word, came down to earth, in human form, to teach us more about our heavenly father is truly something that we cannot fully comprehend. This gift is so awesome that our minds cannot conceive of an appropriate word to truly describe the gift of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, Paul says it best when he calls Jesus an indescribable gift. Furthermore, he says "Thanks be to God..." We ought to be grateful that God saw it fit and deemed us worthy enough to send His son Jesus to die for our sins. That to me is unfathomable. But yet He still did it, so let's thank the Lord Almighty with all our hearts.

Continue to give God thanks and praise. God bless you!

God we thank You and praise Your glorious name! 1Chronicles 29:13

“Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name. 1Chronicles 29:13

Everyday is a day of thanksgiving! God has been so good to me, and everyday He's blessing me!
Today is Thanksgiving Day! Although some countries do not celebrate it, it's a national holiday in other countries. Its a good time to get together with family and enjoy many delicacies. Many sit around the table, state the things they are grateful for and then stuff themselves with turkey and ham.
Although it promotes family togetherness, the purpose of this day should not be forgotten. It is a day to give thanks to God, hence the name of

Give thanks to the Lord... Make known his deeds among the peoples!

Oh, give thanks to the LORD!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples! 1 Chronicles 16: 8

Ever had someone's testimony change your life or just propel your walk with Christ to the next level? Well, it has happened to me and that is why testimonies are so important. Some people feel more willing to share than others but when you can share in detail or not so much detail what God has done in your life, it helps others a lot!
We must give thanks and let other people know what our Lord is capable of and what He has done. Praise His name!

God bless you!

Pray, Be Watchful And Give Thanks

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2

This is great advice to us as believers. We must continue to pray, being vigilant and thankful. Prayer connects us with our heavenly Father so that communion can take place. Let's be vigilant of the things around us, knowing that the time is near and waiting for Jesus' return. Let's be thankful in all things, in all circumstances as this humbles us and molds us to be more spiritually minded.
We are reminded of this throughout scripture. Let us take heed and apply it to our lives.

May God's blessings be upon your lives brothers and sisters in Christ.

I Will Give Thanks To You forever!

11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Psalms 30:11-12

Have you ever been to a place in your life where the circumstances you were going through were too much to bear, it seemed, but God was able to turn your sadness into joy and your heartache into happiness? Sometimes it's only when we look back on where God brought us that we are more thankful, therefore we cannot keep silent and MUST praise Him.
I've often heard that people who have a greater testimony often have "crazier" praise. It reminds me of the woman with the alabaster box Luke 7:36-50. Jesus told Simon a story about 2 people who owed a moneylender, one owed a greater amount than the other.  Neither could pay him back so he told them to forget about it. Jesus then asked Simon, which one of them would love the moneylender more. Simon replied correctly by saying that the one that owed more.
When we've been through a lot in life like the woman with the alabaster box had been through, and our sins are forgiven, the love and gratitude that we have for the Lord is one that is sincere, overwhelming, and brings us to tears whenever we think about it.
Jesus said, "Whoever has been forgiven little, loves little." So imagine if you have been forgiven a great number of things, your love should be great.
In this Psalms, David says that He will give thanks to the Lord forever! That should be our constant state of being, a state of gratitude. The mere fact that Jesus died for us while we were still sinners is enough to not be silent and give Him praises forever.

An attitude of gratitude, this season and forever.

In Everything Give Thanks, For It Is God's Will

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5: 18

No matter what you are going through, give thanks to God. There is always a ray of light or a glimmer of hope in any circumstance when we are believers of the Lord. That ray of light is God Himself because He will deliver us, even if we have to suffer a little while.

When I think about the persecution the early believers went through and the fate of some of the disciples, the things that I go through mean nothing because there is no way my afflictions can compare to theirs. My heartaches can never compare to that of Jesus when he had to be put to death to save our souls.

Paul tells us that giving thanks is the will of God in Jesus for us. God wants us to be thankful to Him. He wants us to remember Him when we are consumed by our troubles. He wants us to keep our faith fixed on Him when everything we trust fails us. It is His will that we be thankful in Jesus. In Christ Jesus means those who know the teachings of Christ, those who live by the teachings of Christ, and those who are in Christ, this is the Lord's will for you.

The Lord wants us to be grateful and thankful in whatever circumstance. He wants us to be happy. Let's remember His word when we are confronted with trials and different afflictions. Let us give thanks through it all.

God bless you!

If we love one another, God abides in us 1 John 4:12

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:12

How do we know that God abides in us? We know when we truly love one another and show each other love using Him as a prime example. We have not seen God but we have seen His love therefore through showing us what love is we can show others love as well. It will be perfected in us or be complete when it is genuine and true.

Brothers and sisters, let's truly learn to love each other so that God may abide in us. Let us each day strive to make our temples (our hearts, souls, minds, and bodies) more hospitable for Him to live in. The only way we can do this is by doing what His word says.

God bless you!

Rejoice In The Lord Always

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! -Philippians 4:4

Always find joy in every season. The only way to truly find joy is in the Lord Almighty. I know it is easier said than done especially when we consider all of life's challenges and uncertainties. However, the Apostle Paul encourages us to "Rejoice in the Lord always," even when joy may seem elusive. These simple yet powerful words encapsulate a timeless invitation to discover lasting joy, regardless of our circumstances.

Embracing Joy in the Journey

Life is filled with ups and downs, moments of triumph, and seasons of struggle. It’s easy to associate joy with favorable circumstances—a promotion at work, a cherished relationship, or a personal achievement. However, the joy that Paul speaks of transcends fleeting happiness. It is a deep-seated gladness rooted in our relationship with the Lord.

Rejoice Always

When Paul exhorts us to rejoice always, he isn’t dismissing the hardships or trials we face. Instead, he invites us to view life through the lens of faith—a perspective that acknowledges God’s sovereignty and provision in every situation. This joy is not dependent on our circumstances but on our unchanging God.

Finding Strength in God’s Presence

In moments of uncertainty or difficulty, it’s natural to seek solace in tangible comforts or quick fixes. Yet, true and lasting joy comes from a place of spiritual alignment with God’s will. It’s about trusting His plan, even when we cannot see the way forward.

Rejoicing in Gratitude

Gratitude unlocks the gateway to joy. When we cultivate a heart of thankfulness, even amid challenges, we shift our focus from what we lack to the abundance of God’s blessings. Every breath, every moment becomes an opportunity to praise Him.

Living Out Philippians 4:4

As I reflect on Philippians 4:4, I am reminded of its relevance in my own journey. There have been seasons of celebration and times of uncertainty, but through it all, God’s faithfulness remains constant. Rejoicing in Him isn’t just a command—it’s a lifestyle that transforms how we navigate life’s peaks and valleys.

Embracing Joy Today

Today, I choose to embrace the joy that comes from knowing God. I rejoice in His love that never fails, His grace that sustains me, and His peace that surpasses all understanding. In every circumstance, I find comfort and strength in His presence.

As we journey through life, may we heed Paul’s timeless wisdom in Philippians 4:4. Let us rejoice always, not as a fleeting emotion but as a steadfast declaration of faith. In doing so, we discover that true joy isn’t found in perfect circumstances but in a perfect God who walks with us every step of the way.

So, I encourage you today—rejoice in the Lord always. Let His joy be your strength, your comfort, and your guiding light through every season of life.

God bless you.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. -Psalms 66:18

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. -Psalms 66:18

How do we have God answer our prayers? Well stated in this Psalm, one way is to make sure our hearts are pure, making sure we are not harboring sin in our hearts.
The Lord wants us to live a holy life, one where from the inside out our lives are in accordance to His word. Yes, we will make mistakes but it's the getting up, learning from sins and being convicted of those sins that are what's important. Everything about us has to be pure so that when we come to the Lord in prayer, He will hear our cries.
The rewards of the righteous and holy are laid out in scripture. Let us strive to bring our lives in accordance with God's word daily.

May God continue to strengthen you in your daily walk with Him. God bless you.

Remain in me, as I also remain in you John 15:4

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. - John 15:4

To abide means to stay, to remain. Jesus wants us to be dependent on Him, rely on him, trust Him, keep our focus on Him and when we do that He will abide in us. When He abides in us He will guide us, keep us, and make sure we have everything we want and need- just like the vine nourishes the branch so it can bear fruit.
We cannot bear fruit unless we remain in His word daily. His word joins us to Him and He is able to speak to us through His word therefore growing in Him daily. Just like a fruit, the more nourishment it gets, the more it grows. The more nourishment we get - the more we read the bible and apply it to our lives, the more we grown in Christ and know what He requires of us.
Let us abide in the Lord so that He may abide in us. God bless you and may you continue to be stayed in Him.

If this was a blessing to you, share it with someone. Thank you.

You are my God! Psalms 140:6

I said to the LORD: “You are my God; Hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD. - Psalms 140:6

Sometimes we have to declare to the Lord where we stand with Him truthfully. In this Psalm, the declaration of  "You are my God!" signifies that there is no other god I worship or I have faith in to answer my prayers than the Lord All Mighty! As believers, we know this to be the truth, we know this to be fact and when we walk with God, we in turn have to declare our faith in Him.
Our Lord is the only one who can give ear to our supplications and answer our prayers.
Meditate on this scripture today and declare to the Lord that He is your God, the one who listens to you when no one else does and the one true God who is able to answer your prayers like no other god can.

Be blessed.

I AM Poem by Helen Mallicoat

I was regretting the past
And fearing the future.
Suddenly my Lord was speaking:

“My name is I Am.” He paused.
I waited. He continued,
When you live in the past
With its mistakes and regrets,
It is hard. I am not there,
My name is not I WAS”.

When you live in the future
With its problems and fears,
It is hard. I am not there.
My name is not I WILL BE.

When you live in this moment,
It is not hard. I am here.
My name is I AM.

Be anxious for nothing Philippians 4:6

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Philippians 4:6

I get anxious sometimes to the point where I get sick. It interferes with my sleep and it's sometimes the only thing on my mind. Has anyone ever felt that way or experienced anxious symptoms? Let me tell you, it is not a good feeling. I have to find ways to calm myself and one way is reading scriptures that remind me that nothing is worth being anxious about - nothing. But with everything, prayer, supplication and thanksgiving are the mediums by which we can let God know what we want and we have to trust and have faith that He will take care of it.
     Throughout scripture God reminds us

Forgetting those things which are behind...Phillippians 3:13

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. Phillippians 3:13

Paul states that he does not count himself to have apprehended or grasp fully all the things that Christ asks of him.  However one thing that he knows for certain that he does is forget those things that are behind him and strive for those things that are ahead.
It's hard to move forward if you are stuck in the past. It's hard to strive for perfection if you continue living in the past where you were not so perfect, which is the story of Paul and so many of us. Paul knew that in order to move forward to do those things that he set out to do after being convicted, he could not keep bringing up the past, he had to forget the past.
Remembering the past ills, actions etc is not conducive to progress. Forgetting them and having your eyes on what is ahead and striving for those things is what is.
May God strengthen you on your journey to forgetting the past and reaching for those things that are ahead. God bless you.

But We Will Remember The Name Of The LORD Our God

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7

Chariots and horses were used in battles and war and persons relied on them as a means of gaining victory. Therefore they trusted in those things to bring them victory. But King David is reminding us that although this is true to some, we will remember the name of the Lord our God!
Why will we remember the name of the Lord our God? When we remember His name, we will remember He is our true defense against battles and wars. He is the one who can give us true victory over all that come against us. So while others trust in things that they think will make them victorious, we will trust in God where our true victory lies. The name of the Lord is that powerful. Praise God!

And Whatever Things You Ask In Prayer, Believing, You Will Receive

There is an incredible promise in Matthew 21:22 that can transform how we approach God in prayer: "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." At first glance, this scripture might seem like a blank check for whatever we desire. But as we dig deeper into the context of this promise, we begin to see that it’s not simply about asking—it’s about faith, trust, and aligning our hearts with God’s will.

When Jesus said these words, He was teaching His disciples the importance of faith in prayer. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” Our prayers must be filled with faith, not just in the act of asking, but in the God we are praying to. Do we truly believe that God is able to answer? Do we trust that His answer—whether yes, no, or wait—will always be for our good?

1. Prayer and Faith Go Hand in Hand

Prayer is not simply a ritual; it is an act of communion with God, where we bring our needs, desires, and burdens before Him. But without faith, prayer loses its power. In James 1:6, we are encouraged to “ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.” When we pray, we must pray with confidence, not in our ability to get what we want, but in God’s ability to answer according to His perfect plan.

There’s a reason Jesus emphasized believing in this passage. Faith unlocks the door to God's supernatural provision. Jesus said in Mark 11:24, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” He wasn’t telling us to demand things of God like He’s a genie but to pray with a deep trust that our Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need.

2. Aligning Our Prayers with God’s Will

When we think about asking and receiving in prayer, it’s essential to remember that our requests should align with God’s will. 1 John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” The power of our prayers comes not from the strength of our desires but from our willingness to surrender those desires to God’s perfect will.

Often, we may ask for things in prayer that we believe are good for us, but God sees the bigger picture. He knows what we truly need, and sometimes His answer is different from what we expect. When we pray, we should ask God to align our hearts with His, seeking His will above all.

3. Trusting God’s Timing and Response

One of the challenges we face when asking in prayer is waiting for God’s response. It can be easy to get discouraged when we don’t see immediate results. But God’s timing is always perfect. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” We might not always understand why God’s answer looks different than what we imagined or why it seems delayed, but we can trust that He is working for our good.

When we pray believing, we trust that God is in control, even when the outcome is different from what we hoped for. Romans 8:28 assures us that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Whether we see the answer immediately or have to wait, God is always faithful to hear us and respond in a way that fulfills His purposes.

4. Believing in God's Power, Not Our Own

Another important aspect of this scripture is that it shifts the focus from our ability to receive to God’s power to provide. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” When we pray, we are tapping into the limitless power of God, not just our own limited vision of what we think we need.

God is not only able to meet our needs—He is able to exceed our expectations. But we must come to Him with the right heart, praying in faith, and trusting His plan, even when it doesn’t look like our own. Matthew 6:33 gives us this vital instruction: “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” When we put God’s will first, He takes care of everything else.

Pray Boldly, Trust Fully

As believers, we are called to pray boldly, believing in God’s power and goodness. Matthew 7:7-8 encourages us, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” God wants us to come to Him with our needs, our hopes, and our dreams, trusting Him with the outcome.

As you pray, believe not just in the answer but in the One who is answering. Let your faith be anchored in God’s character and His promises, knowing that He is always faithful. Trust that whatever you ask in prayer, and believing, you will receive according to His perfect will and timing.

May your prayers be filled with faith and trust in the One who hears every word.

In all things, give thanks!

appreciation,gratitude,phrases,signs,thank you,magic words,texts,concepts
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1Thessalonians 5:18

When we look at our lives, believe me there is always something to be grateful for. The mere fact that the Lord has blessed us with breath is something to be thankful for. Paul is telling us know to always be thankful no matter what is happening around you or within you. Give thanks to God. It is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Therefore it is God's will magnified through Jesus Christ for you to give thanks to Him.
Before we can become negative, think on God's blessings and what His will is for you and lift your hands up and say "Lord, I thank you!"
Why would God want us to give Him thanks? It's because when we take our eyes off our circumstances, we can truly praise Him for what He has done for us. We can stop focusing on the negative in our lives and focus on the positive. When we focus on the positive it brings us joy and some peace of mind from the knowledge that God loves us enough to bless us, in spite of.

Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy one, give thanks because He has given us Jesus Christ his son. And now let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich because of what the Lord has done for us, Give thanks!

God bless you and share this with a friend. Thank you!

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

The Lord cares for us so much that instead of us being burdened by our problems, He wants us to cast them all on Him - not some but ALL. What other god do you know cares for you that much? None!
Our God does not want us to be burdened by our problems, therefore, give them to Him. He knows what to do with them and can solve them better than we ever can.
Let this be our reaction when we have cares or issues - give them to the Lord.

Share with friends and others. God bless you!

For We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight

Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. In 2 Corinthians 5:7, we are reminded of a simple yet profound truth: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” These words call us to live in a way that doesn’t depend on what we can see or understand in the moment but to trust completely in God's unseen hand guiding us.

1. Faith in the Unseen

Walking by faith means trusting in God’s promises, even when our circumstances don’t make sense or when we can’t see the outcome. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as, “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” It’s easy to have faith when everything is going well, but the true test of faith comes in the moments when the path ahead seems unclear or uncertain.

Think about the Israelites in the wilderness. They had no map, no clear understanding of how long they would wander, but God led them by a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night (Exodus 13:21-22). They had to trust that God was guiding them, even though they couldn’t see the full picture.

In our own lives, we often face seasons where we don’t understand why things are happening the way they are. Maybe it’s a challenge at work, a difficult relationship, or a time of waiting that feels never-ending. In these moments, Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Walking by faith means letting go of the need to understand everything and trusting that God has a purpose for every step we take.

2. Trusting God's Timing

When we walk by sight, we often become impatient, wanting answers and solutions right away. But walking by faith means trusting God’s timing, even when we feel like nothing is happening. Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

God’s timing is always perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own expectations. In the waiting, He is working—preparing us, strengthening us, and aligning things according to His plan. When we walk by faith, we rest in the knowledge that He is never late. Every moment of waiting is a part of the journey He has mapped out for us, even when we can’t see it yet.

3. Walking by Faith Requires Surrender

One of the biggest challenges of walking by faith is the need to surrender control. We like to know what’s coming next, to have a plan in place, and to see how things will unfold. But walking by faith requires us to surrender those desires and to trust that God is in control.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of God's good plans for us: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” When we surrender our plans to Him, we can walk forward in confidence, knowing that His plans are always for our good, even when they look different from what we expected.

4. Faith Strengthens Us Through Trials

Walking by faith doesn’t mean we will never face difficulties or challenges. In fact, the Bible tells us that trials are often a part of the journey. James 1:2-3 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

When we face difficulties, it’s easy to become discouraged if we are walking by sight. But faith allows us to see beyond the immediate struggle and trust that God is using every challenge to strengthen us and deepen our reliance on Him. Romans 8:28 reminds us that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Our trials are never wasted when we trust God with them.

5. Faith Leads to Obedience

When we walk by faith, it leads us to a life of obedience to God, even when His commands seem difficult or confusing. Think of Abraham, who was asked by God to leave his home and go to a land he had never seen. Hebrews 11:8 says, “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”

Abraham didn’t have a clear map or a timeline, but he trusted God and walked in obedience. Walking by faith means that we step out in obedience, trusting that God knows the way, even when we don’t.

Conclusion: Living a Life of Faith

Walking by faith is not always easy. It requires trust, surrender, patience, and a deep belief in God's goodness and faithfulness. But as we take each step, even when we can’t see the way ahead, we can trust that God is with us, guiding us, and working all things for our good. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” God may not show us the whole journey at once, but He gives us enough light for the next step, and that is enough.

As we walk by faith, not by sight, let us be encouraged by the words of 2 Corinthians 4:18: “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” Our hope and trust are in God, not in our circumstances. Let’s continue to walk forward in faith, trusting that He will lead us every step of the way.

Fear not, I am with you Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

I love that the word of the Lord stands the test of time. It was not only powerful and applicable then but now and forever more. Therefore we can still hold on to God's words.
God is reminding us who He is. He is here with us, He is our strength, our help and will uphold us with His righteous right hand.
When we are fearful or dismayed, hold on to these words and other words of God that will encourage you and help you remember the God that you serve.

God bless you and keep you! Please share this with someone. Thank you in advance!

There is no want to those who fear Him Psalms 34:9

Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. Psalms 34:9

Every so often, there's news about the world's economy and how we are in a recession. This news can be depressing for those who do not know the word of God. It is clearly stated here that although there is a recession, God's holy people, those that fear Him, are not in a recession. His holy people will have no lack of anything that they want. I like that this scripture did not say, "there is no need" but "there is no want for those that fear Him." Which means that God will not only provide what we need but also those things that we want!
This great news is directed at God's holy people, His saints, those that fear Him, those that obey His commandments. People that fall under that umbrella will hear the depressing news about a recession and rest assured that they have nothing to be worried about nor fear. Amen!
Be strengthened in the knowledge that God will provide our every want and need. Bless the Lord!

If this has been a blessing to you, share it with a friend or anyone.

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalms 34:17

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalms 34:17

The power of the righteous! What does it mean to be righteous? Well there are many definitions out there but simply put it is following God's words, doing the right things that He has outlined in the bible.
God has so many promises for those who are righteous and this is one of them. The Lord will deliver them out of their troubles when they cry out. Don't you want the Lord to deliver you from your troubles from your mere crying out? I know I do.
If we are not righteous, let us become righteous so we can live out the promises God has for us.

Hope this was a blessing to you and if it was, share it with someone. Thank you in advance!

God will keep you in perfect peace...Isaiah 26:3

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3

These were spoken in truth and faith that the Lord would do those things. These words were spoken from experience with this practice of keeping one's mind stayed on the Lord and trusting in the Lord. Have you ever experienced perfect peace? Have your mind been so focused on God that no matter what you have gone through or what were going through in your life, you still had peace? Well the people who Isaiah spoke of in this scripture were able to. They had peace, they relied on God and put their faith in Him because they knew that was the only way to be.
Whatever you are going through, there is perfect peace in the Lord when you keep your thoughts on Him and trust in Him.
Let us meditate on this scripture and apply it to our lives. It truly will bring us peace in chaos, peace in grief, peace in heartache, peace in whatever situation you face. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

If this had been a blessing to you, share it with someone. God bless you!

With Lovingkindness I Have Drawn You

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness, I have drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3

I always thought of the bible as a love story from the beginning of time and that will last forever. The love that the Lord had for us has not changed and will not change. The Lord does not change therefore His words and His love do not change.

The Lord loves us and has always shown His love for us. Let us bask in this love by drawing near to Him and showing our appreciation for His unconditional love.

Thoughts of Peace and not of evil

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

The Lord never intended for His people to suffer nor was that His intent from the creation of man. Here the Lord is reminding His people that although things may not be going the way you may like or may have foreseen, I (the Lord) know what I have planned for you, they are not thoughts of evil but of peace that will give you a future and hope.

In times of despair, there seems to be no hope nor a future but it is in those times, to pray God's words and speak His words of hope back to Him and into our lives. It works miracles when you pray God's words.
Let us be reminded that God wants the best for us, He wants us to have peace a prosperous future, and hope. The road to that place isn't always easy but keep your eyes on the destination.

If this has been a blessing to you, share it with someone. May the Lord keep you.

Have no fear when things go wrong around you

Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains are carried into the midst of the sea; - Psalms 46:2

When we hear of earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunamis we sometimes become very afraid out of fear for our lives. The word of the Lord is telling us that no matter what goes on around us, we will not fear.
Sometimes the earth does not need to be moved nor the mountains to be carried into the sea for us to feel like our world is falling apart. It's in those times whether literally or figuratively that our world is falling to pieces, the Lord is saying do not be afraid.

Throughout the word of the Lord, He constantly reminds us to have faith in Him, do not fear, do not be dismayed, and trust in Him, no matter how bleak the situations in life may seem. It is in those times when the people did not fear and truly relied on Him that He was able to perform miracles in their lives, take them from their shattered lives, and into a bright future.
Let this scripture be the foundation we lay for our lives, that we will not fear no matter what.

God bless you and keep you. If this message has been a blessing to you, share it with someone, anyone. Have a great day!

I have no fear the Lord is my all I need

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27:1

David said that the Lord is his light - where there is light, no darkness can penetrate through. He is our salvation - The Lord our God is able to save us from anything that tries to harm us. The Lord is our strength of life - He keeps us alive, and He gives us strength to sustain us.

Knowing all of this now, who shall you be afraid of? If you know what the Lord is to you, why should anything or anyone make you afraid? When you know the Lord, truly know Him and who He is to you based on scripture and the many blessings He alone has bestowed upon you, holding on to those truths far outweighs the fear we may feel at any point in our lives. Who God is will last forever, can we say the same about momentary fear?

David knew who the Lord represented to him because he had a personal relationship with God and personal experiences with God. Let us draw nearer to the Lord and replace the fear etc. with the knowledge of Him. That alone is enough to banish any fear in our hearts.

God bless you and keep you. If this message has been a blessing to you, share it with a friend. Have a great day!

Sin living in me

19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. Romans 7:19-20

We fight with our flesh or our sinful nature daily. I know I do. Sometimes I may come from reading God's word, internalizing it, and feel like "Yes! I am delivered from this sinful nature!" But I turn around and do something that totally contradicts who I say I am, what I talk about, and what my goal is as a believer. There is a battle between the spirit and flesh and the mind and body.

Do not be discouraged if you make mistakes, do not stop striving for excellence. Paul goes on to say that God has delivered us through Jesus Christ. Let us keep our minds right as in it lies the law of God and put our bodies under subjection as there lies the law of sin.

God is love

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:8

Ever wondered why some people cannot love or are unfamiliar with love? It's because they have not experienced the love of God or do not know how much God loves them. That's why knowledge of God's love is so important. It will save you from making a lot of mistakes.

Read the bible, learn of God's love, and then when you love even if it is not returned you will know within yourself that you know what it truly means to love.

Nothing can separate us from the love of God

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39

I hope we can appreciate the type of love God has for us. Nothing can separate us from His love -NOTHING. That is how great His love is for us, who else do you know can boast of such love? -NOBODY.

Sometimes we have to be told we are loved and shown we are loved before we understand the magnitude of that love but God tells us repeatedly and shows us over and over. Want to understand His love, read the bible, the best love story of all time. Thank you Father for loving us so much!

Joy comes in the morning

"Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." Psalms 30:5

This just reminds us that everything has a beginning and an end. Whatever you are going through, it may be the worst possible pain you may be experiencing but know that it too will not last forever. It has to end in Jesus' name and when it does, a new season will emerge where you are joyous.

The pain will only last for a time when darkness may be all you see but when morning comes, when the light of a new day shines upon you, joy will surely follow.

His favor is for life

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Psalms 30:5

David's life was in jeopardy when as he describes at the beginning of this Psalms. He says that he cried to the Lord and the Lord heard him, brought his soul out of the grave, and saved him that's why he gives thanks.

Sometimes we may be in the pit of death and still walk among the living. We may be so low that the only person who can truly save us in our Almighty Father. No matter how much we may anger Him know that when we start to walk in accordance to His word, His favor is for life. He is able to save us even from death. God's favor is what we should all desire, not his wrath.

God will fight our battles

"With Him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. 2 Chronicles 32:8

King Hezekiah told the people this after Sennacherib king of Assyria invaded and destroyed their city. The people were discouraged after this but Hezekiah reminded them what their God was able to do.
In life, we may forget that our God is here to help us and to fight our battles for us.

Do not be dismayed by your troubles or how big they may seem. God is here to help his faithful servants and those who call on Him. In the continuation of the chapter, you will see where Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah prayed to God after the king of Assyria sent a message of how He would destroy them and also insult God. After praying, God sent an angel and it killed all of his top officials and army and they were put to shame.

We have to know our God can do any and everything. Don't let anything scare you, nothing life can throw at you can compare to what God can do to deliver you.

The Lord is My Rock and My Fortress

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Psalms 18:2

Throughout the Psalms this is a repeated theme all because of one of the greatest realizations: Let the Lord be your all. When you cannot fight, when you are hurt, when you are angry, when you are depressed - whatever may befall you in life, Let the Lord be your fortress and the one who will deliver you out of any and everything. Let Him be your strength when you are weak and always put your trust in Him. He is our shield the horn of our salvation and our stronghold.

Don't worry about things because when you do, you are telling God that you don't think He can take care of it. Put things in God's hands and let Him work it out and rest assured that He will.

God bless you!

Living with Grief

Life is a gift, fragile and quite fleeting, and yet it is filled with so much purpose. Death though inevitable, often feels abrupt and harsh...
