The words of God will live forever and ever. What He said to His people then, He is saying to us now, if we would just follow Him.
These words are repeated over and over when He was speaking to the Israelites because they needed encouragement, they needed to know that God was with them regardless of
how many times He had proven this, He still reminded them that He was with them. Sometimes, that is just how we are as humans. Although God has shown Himself to be there for us over and repeatedly, we still need a constant reminder.

When you have God with you, you shouldn't fear anything. In fact, Paul states in the new testament, "If God be for us, who can be against us?"-Romans 8:31. Meaning that whoever should rise up against you, is of no significance because you have the Lord Almighty on your side. God will not leave you nor forsake you so be strong and do not be afraid.
